Your family adventure begins with a pickup in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. As we travel across the island, your local guide will share the history and culture that make our home unique. We stop at one of the highest driving points that offers a 3-way view perfect for capturing the beauty of the island from above with photographs.

Next stop is the island’s most famous residents at our friendly wildlife sanctuary. You can hang out with playful monkeys as they jump and climb around you and get perfect closeup photos with our adorable sloths. Even though you can’t hold the sloths anymore, being right next to them is still a magical experience. You’ll also get to meet beautiful tropical birds like colorful macaws, making this the best spot for amazing family pictures and fun animal encounters.

As we drive across the island, we’ll stop to enjoy some of the best local treats and shopping Roatán has to offer. You will get to taste hand-made samples at the chocolate factory and try the famous artisan rums and banana rum cakes at the Roatán Rum Company, which sits on a hill with a 180-degree view of the coast. Along the way, we’ll visit local markets where you can find souvenirs like island paintings, magnets and local coffee to take home.

The final stop on your journey is West Bay beach, where you will find soft white sand and calm, clear turquoise water. This beach sits right on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, making the water great for swimming or just relaxing by the shore. After all the animal fun and tasty treats, there is no better way to end your island trip than soaking up the sun and enjoying the beach breeze.
